Dom's Sketches

Here we are- it took me a bit longer than I wanted, but I followed one of Jason Chan's tutorials and came out with an okay product. I'll keep trying to perfect this new style.

So... we drew a nude model in art class twice. Totally, drop-dead gorgeous. Enough for me to want to chase her down and ask her to pose for Nadya (fully clothed!)

Anyway, here's a sketch I made of her after she was out of my sight. My ranting on the right says it all!

Here's a sketch of the kind of house I want Nadya living in. I went overboard with the lights, but ah well...

Here's what happened:

I was talking to a classmate in my Art 100 ( 2D design class), and he happens to be a fantastic acrylic painter. I asked him to tell me to draw something. He saw Alice walk in and pointed at her.  He asked her if it was alright, and she nodded and just read her newspaper, staying very still. She was one of the best models I ever had. :-)

Done in: about 10 minutes?

I love how it came out, though I wish I could have made her arm bigger.

Here's a sketch I did of a guy on the bus. I think I caught his likeness. I'm going to add more stuff soon. It's good to have a place we can all join together and stuff.
